How many bacon and eggs breakfasts am I going to have to eat?
Is There Anything Else Other Than EGGS???
Yes, there is, thank goodness. After your first 30 days, you may be getting tired of bacon and eggs for breakfast. Maybe you are even getting tired of breakfast. I was never much of a breakfast eater, A run to Starbucks was usually all I needed. Lunch was the one meal of the day when I would become very hungry and it was my favorite meal of the day as well. I knew however, that Paleo was healthy and required a balanced eating plan throughout the day. The 30-day plan was a great way to give you the discipline to develop the habit.
But, if we are tired of eggs, what? No bread, no wheat, no sweet rolls, etc? What is there? Well, of course remembering that flexibility is what guides our choices, we are not limited to what are considered traditional breakfast choices, such as those mentioned. Eggs are a good source of protein and they can be prepared in several creative ways and can be a basis for several dishes, but this is a post about ideas without eggs. And, some people are sensitive and even allergic to eggs. So how do we deal with this?
Eggless Recipes Are they Paleo?
Yes, they do exist and they are Paleo. I am really not a very creative cook myself, so I have relied on some terrific people who are great cooks and have some wonderful and easy recipes. Remember, there are some delicious sausage, chicken, steak and of course good ole bacon dishes that can be created that do not require eggs. OK, Do I Need to Be a Cook to Do This?
No No No! I eat to live, not live to eat. My motto on this site. I do love to be creative for weekend breakfast though and there are a couple of recipes that don’t require me peeling an egg. Yet, if you are a good cook and you love to cook for you and your family, there hundreds and hundreds of individual recipes and cookbooks available. I even tried my hand a preparing a Paleo Thanksgiving Meal. For me it was an accomplishment, It took some effort and patience, but it was Paleo and it tasted great!. And, a little flexibility was added to the day to make the celebration complete for my family who are not Paleo friendly. That tip is always something to remember. Be aware of who you dine with and be flexible when making your choices during those times. It is always good to set an example, just don’t be overbearing.

Think outside that ole box. Do some research. Collect recipes and try them out.
